BABALU! Celebrating
the Library's Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz Collection is
an admiring homage to two of America's legendary
entertainers, now icons of American popular culture.
Hosted and headlined by singer Lucie Arnaz, with guest
artists Desi Arnaz, Jr., Raúl Esparza and Valarie
Pettiford, the evening spotlights the sizzling, snazzy
orchestrations of the Desi Arnaz Orchestra, and salutes
both Lucille Ball's 100 th birthday and the sixtieth
anniversary of one of the best-loved shows in television
history. Lucie Arnaz headlines an evening that brings to
life her father's snazzy, sparkling orchestrations of
the 1940's and 50's, songs that gave the American
Songbook a Latin beat! Musical Director Ron
Abel, concert version originally staged and
choreographed by Ramon Del Barrio, Created by Lucie
Arnaz, Ron Abel and Ramon Del Barrio.

Lucie Arnaz’s loving tribute to her father. A chance for
all of us to celebrate Desi’s extraordinary musical
career and the major role Latin music has played in
American pop culture. Joining Lucie on stage is
four-time Tony Award-nominated Miami native Raúl
Esparza, and Broadway star Valarie Pettiford (Dancin,
Fosse, Sophisticated Lady), smoldering Latin dancers
Richard Amaro (Chita Rivera: The Dancers Life) Jeanette
Delgado (principal dancer with Miami City Ballet),
stunning choreography by Ramon Del Barrio. a 15-piece
orchestra playing original orchestrations from the Desi
Arnaz Orchestra led by the incomparable Ron Abel and
special guest Desi Arnaz Jr. on percussion!

runaway smash-hit, Jersey Boys, the Tony Award-winning
Best Musical of 2006 that takes you up the charts,
across the country and behind the music of Frankie Valli
and The Four Seasons. As Clive Barnes in the New York

This past
summer I was asked to teach a class at the Ailey School
Summer Intensive July 2009, 4 weeks , 5 days a week.
I also had a repertory Class and Choreographed a piece
for my Jr. Kid's in the Summer Sizzle Show!
